It seems the progress has slowed due to a few folks who are against the new track. Their property is near the proposed site for the track. They have concerns that the track will introduce new sounds and smells that would impede the use and enjoyment of their own property.

As many of you already know, Area Rides has been working closely with several clubs, individuals and content producers in the St. Louis area. Shine Box Media is one of them. This cooperation will surely benefit the local St. Louis Auto Scene. There are a couple first annual car shows this year and a couple new cruises in the area. Everyone knows of the Easter Show at Forest Park and the Magic Dragon show in the Ozarks as they have been going on for nearly forever. In order to make the new shows and cruises as big as Easter Show, everyone should attend.
