There was a minor set back recently, but it has had little effect on the project's progress. The site- its location know only to a select few- has already been surveyed and the track marked out. Plans for the complex are being drawn up and include easy vehicle access from more than one direction and parking on the grounds. Patrons will not have to park off-site and walk across a highway to get to the track.

There are a few local clubs and event organizers already speaking with the MAR group to have their events at the new location.

MidAmerica Park is asking for donations of used slicks for track prep. Why pay to dispose of your slicks when they can go to a good cause? To help contact them through the website.
